Four kilometres south of Pisarovina is Jamnička Kiselica, probably the most famous place of this region. This is where rich springs of popular mineral water Jamnica are found. Mineral water springs were discovered in 1770. The first chemical analysis of mineral water was made in 1772 as per order of the Empress Maria Theresa. In 1824 works began on the area, and several years later in 1828 the first bottles were filled with mineral water and placed on the market.
Connoisseurs claim that this is one of the best waters for mixing with wine and fruit juices. Judging by demand Jamnica is number one mineral water in Croatia today.
In the immediate vicinity of Jamnica plant, traditional Kupa Evenings are held.
